About 95 to 100. We multiply the strand length by 25.4, then divide by 4 mm measured along the hole. For 8 mm in this length range, plan roughly 48 to 52. These totals assume beads touch without knots or spacers.
How do you calculate beads per strand?
Use one simple formula. Multiply strand length in inches by 25.4 to get millimeters, then divide by the bead length along the hole. Round to a whole bead and plan a quick test on your beading board to confirm spacing with your clasp and wire.

How many 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm beads fit on 13, 15 and 16 inches?
