About labradorite
Plagioclase feldspar (sodium calcium aluminum silicate), Mohs 6 to 6.5, perfect cleavage. The flash (labradorescence) is light reflecting off thin twin layers inside a gray to black body. Bead rough is mostly Madagascan.
