About charoite
A rare potassium calcium sodium silicate with a fibrous, swirling purple structure. Mohs 5-6. One source: the Murun massif on the Chara River, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia; described in 1978. It's a rock: black aegirine, orange tinaksite and white feldspar sit in the purple.
